What to Expect from the PayRange–Turns Integration

The PayRange integration allows Turns-powered laundromats to offer seamless cashless payments, remote machine control, and unified management of payments, orders, and machines. This guide explains what the integration includes, what is required, and how it benefits your store.

Key Capabilities

1. PayRange Wallet for Wash–Dry–Fold & Delivery Orders

Customers can pay for their WDF or Delivery orders using their PayRange wallet balance, just like any regular payment method in Turns.
Benefits:

  • Faster checkout

  • No additional POS hardware

  • Convenient for customers already using PayRange

2. Manage Payments, Orders & Machines from One Dashboard

Turns becomes the central hub for:

  • WDF & Delivery Orders

  • Customer Payments

  • Machine Start/Stop

  • Activity Logs

This creates a fully unified workflow for your staff and operations.

3. Remote-Start Washers/Dryers & Mark Payments (Requires Remote Pay)

Turns supports remote-starting machines and marking machine payments as completed — only if Remote Pay is enabled in PayRange.

Remote Pay Requirements

  • Remote Pay enabled in PayRange Manage dashboard

    • Cost: $20/month, billed through PayRange

  • BluKey Connect device installed in your store

    • The BluKey Connect is mandatory for Remote Pay functionality

    • It must be physically installed in your store and registered/activated in PayRange Manage

  • Room created in PayRange + mapped in Turns

    • You must create a "Room" (machine group) inside PayRange

    • That Room must be assigned to the correct store in Turns

Once these are in place you can:

  • Remote-start washers and dryers

  • Mark machine payments via PayRange

  • Enable smooth attended or unattended workflows

Prerequisites Before Enabling the Integration

1. PayRange Operator Account

You must have a valid PayRange operator account to connect your store.

2. PayRange Hardware Installed (BluKey / BluKey Connect)

Depending on your use case:

  • For basic PayRange wallet usage (WDF/Delivery) — no hardware required

  • For machine-level connectivity — BluKey devices are required

  • For remote machine start — BluKey Connect is required

Installation and activation are managed via PayRange.

3. Create & Assign a Room in PayRange

You must create a Room in PayRange Manage and map it to your store in Turns — this links your machines → Room → Store correctly.

4. Remote Pay (Optional, Required for Remote Start)

If you want machine remote start:

  • Remote Pay must be enabled

  • BluKey Connect must be installed and registered

  • Cost: $20/month

Where to Purchase BluKey Connect

You can purchase BluKey Connect directly from PayRange’s official store. PayRange+1

What the Integration Does NOT Do

  • Remote-start will NOT work without BluKey Connect + Remote Pay

  • Turns does not handle hardware installation or troubleshooting

  • Customers must have PayRange wallet balance for payments

  • Machine-level connectivity or signal issues must be handled with PayRange support

Who Benefits from This Integration

Self-Service Laundromats

Enable cashless machine payments and centralized management.

WDF / Delivery Laundromats

Accept PayRange wallet payments for services.

Attended / Hybrid Stores

Use remote-start and payment control for faster service.

Operators Wanting a Unified System

Manage payments, orders, machines, and reporting all in one platform.

Summary

The PayRange–Turns integration brings modern mobile payments, remote machine control (with Remote Pay + BluKey Connect), and unified operational management into a single system. Whether you use Turns for WDF, delivery, or machine operations, this integration helps streamline workflows.
