How to Add and Map Upcharges in Turns Business Manager?

Follow these steps to create and assign upcharges to specific items in the Turns Business Manager

Step 1: Log In

  1. Access the Turns Business Manager.

  2. Enter your credentials to log in securely.


Step 2: Navigate to Products and Services

  1. Go to the Settings section from the main menu.

  2. Select Products and Services.


Step 3: Open the Upcharges Page

  1. In the Products and Services section, click on Order Detailing.

  2. Select Upcharges from the available menu options.


Step 4: Create a New Upcharge

  1. On the Upcharges page, click on the "+" icon or the New Upcharge button.

  2. Fill out the upcharge creation form:

    • Name: Enter a descriptive name for the upcharge.

    • Price Unit: Select whether the upcharge is flat or based on quantity/weight (e.g., lbs).

    • Price: Enter the value of the upcharge.

  3. Review: Verify the entered information for accuracy.

  4. Create: Click the Create button to add the upcharge.


Step 5: Map the Upcharge to Items

  1. Return to Products and Services and select Service Price List.

  2. Find the item(s) you want to assign the upcharge to.

  3. Scroll to the right and click on the Edit icon under the Action column.

  4. In the dialog box:

    • Locate the Map Upcharges section.

    • Select the desired upcharge.

    • Specify if it’s Flat or Per Qty/Lbs Based.

  5. Click Update to save the changes.
