How to Create Routes in Turns Business Manager

Creating routes in Business Manager helps you efficiently manage pickups, deliveries, and on-demand services. Follow the steps below to set up a route.

1. Log In to Business Manager

Start by logging in to the Turns Business Manager using your authorized credentials.


2. Navigate to the Routes Section

From the main dashboard:

  • Go to Settings

  • Under Pickup and delivery Header

  • Click on Routes Setup

This will open the Route List page where all existing routes are displayed.


3. Open Route Creation

On the Route List page, click the “Create Route” button highlighted in green. This will take you to the route creation form.


4. Enter Basic Route Information

Fill in the required route details carefully:

  • Route Name: Enter a unique name for the route

  • Store Name: Select the appropriate store from the dropdown list

  • Route / Service Type: Choose the type of service:

    • Pickup

    • Delivery

    • Both

    • On-demand

  • Driver Name: Select the assigned driver

  • Route Start Time: Set the start time for operations

  • Route End Time: Set the end time for operations

  • Route Days: Select the days the route will be active


5. Add Operational Details

Provide additional route parameters:

  • Turnaround Time: Enter expected turnaround time

  • Route Fee: Define the applicable fee

  • Lbs Count: Enter total weight capacity in pounds

  • Pickup Count: Specify number of pickups allowed

  • Quantity Count: Enter total item quantity capacity


6. Configure Display Settings

Set how the route behaves in the system and customer platform:

  • Display Time After Route Starts: Choose Yes or No

  • Show on Online Ordering Platform: Enable or Disable visibility for customers


7. Add Route Notes (Optional)

Use the notes section to include any additional instructions, conditions, or descriptions related to the route.


8. Configure Geofence

Define the service area for the route using the map:

  • Draw a geofence using a circle or polygon tool

  • This ensures the route is available only within the selected geographic area

  • Customers will see the route based on their address matching the geofence

You can also add multiple ZIP codes:

  • Enter ZIP codes one by one

  • Press Enter, use a comma, or click outside the field to add them


9. Create the Route

Once all fields are completed and verified, click the “Create” button to save the route.


10. Verify the Route

After creation:

  • Return to the Route List

  • Confirm that the newly created route appears successfully in the system
